7/22 UPDATE: SOIREE POSTPONED, DIRTY LINEN WILL HAPPEN AS SCHEDULED. After the Red Dress Run we’ll fan out across the city for unofficial after-parties. -and naps. -plenty of naps. In addition to hotel rooftops, a Red Dress Run crashing after-party favorite has always been Dirty Linen Night. This year there are two competing events on Royal Street. Dirty Linen and the Vieux Carre Soiree… The soiree is asking people to dress like pirates. So, let me get this straight: I should dress up in a Red Dress all day, then swith into a pirate costume with a dirty shirt. Got it… Even WE think that’s a bit much.
